This has been a challenging year. But also a good year. It has been a chance for the independent entrepreneur to embrace change and perhaps shed some preconceived notions about doing business. Many of our Sendy Go vendors fall into the category of independent entrepreneurs. When the global pandemic plagued us, many had to deal with the fear of the unknown as their brick and mortar shops saw a decline in customer numbers or closed down altogether. Those who adapted to the “new normal” looked for alternative options from where they could run their businesses, with e-commerce proving to be a critical channel for many. Using Sendy Go, our vendors have opened up their shops to many more new customers from all over Nairobi, giving access to products from the comfort and safety of their homes. We are proud that Sendy Go has been available to them during this time and offered them the freedom to continue following their passion. Here’s to them.
The pandemic has dealt a big blow for a lot of businesses but we celebrate the strides made by entrepreneurs
