Experience new features in our mobile and web app with this new year’s release

Payment on Delivery - Sellers can specify to have payments collected by the Sendy driver during delivery and for such monies to be availed to them digitally via an in app wallet. Release Status : General availability in Kenya and Nigeria. Not available in Uganda and Cote D'ivoire

Document Management - Sellers canupload relevant documents such as LPOs, invoices, packing and delivery notes  while placing orders to have our delivery teams avail them for signing/ stamping during the delivery process at their customers’ locations and resent back. Release Status : General Availability across all markets to Business to Retail sellers.

National Deliveries - Sellers placing delivery orders outside of geo-fenced locations (Nairobi metropolitan, Kampala,Abuja, Lagos and Abidjan) will have access to delivery partners from which they can select their preferred delivery partner based on pricing and delivery of upto 72 hours. Release Status : General availability in Kenya. Alpha testing in Nigeria, Uganda and Cote D'ivoire

Order Scheduling - Sellers canselect their preferred speed of pick up and delivery including Express (within3 hours), Same day (within 8 hours), Next day (24 hours) and future scheduled(anytime after 24 hours) based on item availability within the Fulfillment Centers and time of placing the orders. Release Status : General Availability across all markets.

Multi destination orders - Sellers can chain multi destination orders in one request hence utilize one pick up request for missing stock items and save on pick up fees. General Availability across all markets.


Enhancements

Product Management - Sellers can now specify fragility, temperature and photosensitivity for improved product handling considerations. Release Status: General Availability across all markets.


Dashboard metrics - Sellers can now see canceled orders separate from failed ones, order sources such as store front vs in-app vs integrated site. Sellers are informed of failed orders on the homepage as opposed to generalized stock. Release Status : General Availability across all markets.

Order editing - Sellers can now edit order details after placing orders such as adding documents, updating recipient information as well as POD (payment on delivery) specifications. Release Status : General Availability across all markets.

Search & Pagination - Improved item selection within search or through pagination on placing consignment and delivery orders. Release Status : General Availability across all markets.

Smart delivery/ Cross docking - Sellers are able to place delivery orders on items without any stock at the Fulfillment Center or that have inadequate stock. Release Status : General Availability across all markets for Business to Retail sellers.
